Mr. Flower's Music Blog

Hello parents of SJA,

This week has been very busy. We have finished all of our test from the first unit and we are now working on the Christmas Concert. We have a lot of work to do but the big "payoff" will be a great performance at the Christmas Concert.

JK: These students are working on learning the songs " What Christmas Means to Me"(Mrs. Padovan), and " I'm the Happiest Christmas Tree". Even though these students are very young they are singing the lyrics very well!

SK: We have 3 classes in SK and they are all wonderful! Mrs. Blair's class is doing "Reindeer Pokey"(the Hokey Pokey remix) and it is a lot of fun! Mrs. Gray and Ms. Bannon are both doing  a dance to the song "Christmas Clap". It is hard work but we can do this!

Gr. 1: We have some great songs that we are working on. Ms. Brew's class is dojng "Santa Clause is Coming to Town"(the Jackson 5 version), Mr. Foster's class is doing a medley of "Do You Hear What I Hear" and "Up on the Housetop". Miss Gandy is doing a fun song called " I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday".

Gr. 2: Miss Smith's class is doing a dance and Ms. Coldswell's class is singing "Let It Snow".

Gr. 3: Ms. Chiapetta's class is doing a fun song called "I Want a Hippopotamus For Christmas" and Ms. Foti is doing a song called  "Mamacita, Donde Esta Santa Clause".

We are having a lot of fun doing these songs and are working hard on them.
